School of Fine Arts ESPECIALLY FOR TEACHERS Is a Master's Degree on Your To-Do List? Earn A Master of Arts Degree In Two Summers with the Creative Pulse*. . . June 16 - July 21, 2008 The School of Fine Arts at The University of Montana is pleased to present the eighteenth annual five-week summer Creative Pulse Arts in Education graduate program for educators and education administrators. The program is specifically designed for K-12 teachers in the arts and the humanities. The program features guest faculty, a resident core faculty, and a varied curriculum. The core philosophies and focal content areas which serve as the foundation of the graduate program are: Multiple Intelligences; Exploration in Cognitive Processes and Human Development; Leadership and Articulation; Integrated Learning; and Assessment and the Arts. Students may take the ten one-week sessions individually or may enroll in the entire program and work toward a Master of Arts in Fine Arts, Integrated Arts and Education degree. This degree is designed to develop a master teacher. Whether students take courses individually, with no degree in mind, or apply to the degree program, all students must be admitted to The University of Montana. Early application is advised.
