Scholarships

Music talent scholarships ranging up to $2,500 per year are awarded each year to high school seniors and transfer students demonstrating by audition and recommendations a strong musical background and potential for musical and academic success at The University of Montana. Granted to incoming students, these awards are renewable annually, following faculty review of musical and academic progress, for four years. Scholarships may be offered to string players regardless of intended major, while woodwind, brass, and percussion instrumentalists and singers, pianists, and organists must plan to major in music. Music students are also eligible for scholarships, grants, loans, and work-study positions available through the University's Office of Financial Aid.
