2007 Mountain Computer Music Festival

The 2007 Mountain Computer Music Festival at the University of Montana featured works for electric bass and piano with real-time computer-processing, as well as an interactive computer-music installation, by Brian Belet, from the faculty of San Jose State University.  The festival also featured a piece for interactive microphone controller, developed by alumnus Matthew Setzer, currently studying at the California Arts Institute, and two pieces for computer-processed video and sound.  University of Montana student works included pieces for tenor saxophone, spoken word, digeridoo, and piano, with interactive computer-processing, and the faculty work was a piece for guitar and computer-sequencer, by Charles Nichols.  The festival began with an interactive installation starting at 7:00 pm and the concert began at 7:30 pm, in the Music Recital Hall of the University of Montana.
