Mike is currently Associate Professor of Design/Technology for the drama department,
bringing backgrounds in both scenic/lighting design and architectural history
to the program. Mike's professional experience includes two years as the head
of the production/tech department at the Missoula Children's Theatre where he
designed sets and lights for several shows including, Into the Woods, The
Music Man, The Foreigner and Little Shop of Horrors. Mike also spent
eight years teaching technical theatre at Central Wyoming College in Riverton,
WY, designing the sets and lights for every departmental production. Other professional
credits include seven summers as Designer and Technical Director at the Bigfork
Summer Playhouse, three seasons at the Idaho Repertory Theatre at the University
of Idaho, and six tours with the Montana Repertory Theatre. Mike has served
on numerous Arts Boards including a four year appointment on the Wyoming Arts
Council, and is a consultant for the restoration and preservation of historic
theatres.
