Alessia Carpoca teaches introduction to design, scene painting, and costuming with the Department of Drama/Dance. In addition to her designs for Northwestern University, and the University of British Columbia, Alessia has worked with the UBC School of Music in Vancouver designing operas which have toured in the Czech Republic and Germany. In Italy, Alessia designed sets and lighting for Club Vacanze, a theatrical cabaret for a holiday resort company. She also designed sets for the television design company "La Scenografia".
